It was released as a double album, the first disc containing studio material, and the second containing live recordings
The studio-part (1-8) was recorded at Kingsway Recorders, London
Live-part (9-12 & 14) recorded by Steve Smith and Mick MacKenna on the Rolling Stones Mobile at the Reading Festival in August 1981 and by Chris Blake on the Manor Mobile at the Rainbow Theatre in March 1981 (track 13)
Both parts were mixed by Paul 'Chas' Watkins at Abbey Road, with assistance by Tony (Clark kent) on the live-recoding
