Worth knowing: 1) title of the album derives from Leslie Watkins' book entitled "Alternative 3" - Duncan had read it a few years before they wrote the album. It's about conspiracy theory, and most Duncan songs on "Alternative 4" is about trust, that's why it's called this way; 2) on Japanese edition there was bonus track - "The Silent Enigma (orchestral), Don Airey recorded overdubs (with no edits) onto the piano part of "The Silent Enigma" that Danny had already done; 3) Peaceville re-edition contains "Your Possible Pasts", "One Of The Few", "Better Off Dead" and "Goodbye Cruel World"
